negative progress.

:P
and that's how i feel about that.

i frogged the leg of my sockpalooza socks today. i realizedthat there wasn't enough ease in the leg for her heel t fit through. duh. and i hadn't tried the socks on because they're way too teeny to fit me so why would i right? i mean the foot is too short and too narrow for my big old feet. so how could i right? should have tried. anyhoo. back to the top of the heel. adding a few stitches and going up a needle. bah humbug!

I hate that. I had to frog a Jaywalker just yesterday for the same reason. Fortunately, it was only for me; I'm still waiting on my Sockapalooza yarn.
In other news, you are hereby tagged to post seven random facts about yourself to your blog. Don't hate me, I had to come up with seven people, and as I'm new to the blogosphere, I had to improvise. Feel free to ignore it if you've already done it, or just don't want to.

it's a sad day

for starbucks when a great manager resigns because he's getting too much crap from his boss. a shitton of crap from the guys upstairs and not a whole lot of help. we like to try to set our team up for success. but we don't try to set them up for failure. and that is what has been happening! i'm probably gonna hear something 'cause i'm posting this but it's got to be said. since april i've been working in the second busiest store in central florida. until recently we were beating out all the others in our district. this means we have to work hard. really hard. just to keep up. forget about getting ahead. keeping things shiny clean? no way. shoot for passable. cause you can't really do much else. there's not enough time it is impossible to stay on top. when you're understaffed. when you can't get labor hours. when you have only 2 team members in the store for 2 hours at a time! you barely get things done. and the bosse's boss. well she laid

There's this cute little eyelet pattern at the bottom, and i can't figure out is is supposed to be done in ribbing too? and if that's the case, why the heck didn't she say so??? that and you're supposed to increase after the ribbing...doesn't that mess up the ribbing, and isn't that an issue if the chart is worked in ribbing? argh! anyone who has ideas please let me know. thanks. i'd lie to finish this top. not that i can wear it anytime soon its sooo friggin hot. and i love the yarn (tlc cara mia) but it's part angora and i think i would die of heat stroke! on another note, i just finished grading the first set of assignments for this black holes class i am grading for...wow that's redundant. and omg. how bad can some people's handwriting be? geez. am i the only one who took penmanship in elementary school? i mean if yo
